Everton Eye Napoli Striker As Potential Romelu Lukaku Replacement

Everton striker Lukaku has told his representatives that he wants a move away from Goodison Park as he attempts to seal a return to Chelsea.

Striker Romelu Lukaku has been talking up his exit from Everton for some time now, usually using the global breaks as his time to speak of his greater ambitions.

Antonio Conte has informed the Spaniard that he is no longer part of the club's plans, and is free to look for a new club.

"The reason Costa came out with this announcement and Conte was happy for it to be public, he was anxious Chelsea might hesitate to get him his main transfer target which is Romelu Lukaku and at some point might come back and say is he sure that he doesn't want to keep Costa".

"This is definitely going to happen but my goodness, when you've got rid of a player and then you spend a insane amount of money getting him back".

Celtic would prefer to keep Dembele in Scotland for at least another season although they would find it nearly impossible to turn down £30m given they paid Fulham just £400,000 for the player 12 months ago. He is younger [than Costa], that's in his favour.

And Cole thinks Lukaku, along with Alexis Sanchez and Sergio Aguero, would be suitable signings to fill the void left by Costa.

The Everton striker is in demand, with Chelsea and Manchester United both eyeing a swoop for the Belgian striker.

"Sergio Aguero is in his prime, Alexis Sanchez is in his prime", Cole continued. The club will have to do their due diligence on the characters as well.

'The financial structure of it and the cost.

He and Ashley Cole trained at Chelsea this winter, during the US leagues' offseason, and Joe Cole said that it will be hard for his old club to improve on what they have got, having seen them up close last season. [Alvaro] Morata is another one but he has never played in England so there is a little question mark there.

The Brazil global has emerged as a key target for Chelsea as they look to create competition for Marcos Alonso at left wing-back.
