Akshay Kumar to attend the Women’s World Cup 2017 Finals in London to cheer for Team India

The Indian Women's Cricket team were beaten at the World Cup Final by England, held at Lord's. Well played ladies. Bhartiya Nari Zindabad! Akshay, who is shooting for his new film Gold in London, attended the Women's World Cup final at Lord's on Sunday and posted several updates online.

Taking up to Twitter, Akshay shared this video which has him bursting with excitement as he captioned it saying, "This is how excited I am, never in my life have I run for a train barefoot to make it in time for a match!" Now, he has tweeted an apology on social media.

Akshay was seen cheering for Team India while proudly holding the tri-colour. "Didn't mean to offend anyone, the picture has been removed", he wrote. He later deleted the tweet and apologised for his mistake.

"Extending my sincerest apology for violating the code of conduct for the tricolor (sic).Didn't mean to offend anyone, the picture has been removed", the National Award victor tweeted on Monday.

The Khiladi Kumar of Bollywood is now shooting for his upcoming film "Gold" in London.
