Carmelo Anthony only waiving no-trade clause for Houston, not Cleveland -report

MANILA, Philippines-New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony has seemed to narrow down his list of league destinations as he reportedly wants to be traded only to the Houston Rockets, per the the New York Post.

While Anthony expressed his desire to play either with the Houston Rockets or Cleveland Cavaliers just before the National Basketball Association free agency started, he has changed his mind.

While Irving has recently been at the center of offseason reports indicating that the Cavs guard "wants to be traded to Knicks very badly", netizens pondered whether a deal between the two teams would be happening soon- with Anthony as the focus of a possible package.

While there's still plenty of time for a deal to get done before training camp starts, Irving's route to NY won't be easy. However, while the rumor mill continues to churn day in and day out, it appears as though Anthony will soon be the subject of a blockbuster trade that will ship him elsewhere - most likely the Houston Rockets.

Carmelo Anthony will reportedly only agree to be traded to one National Basketball Association team.

LeBron James is set to hit free agency after the 2017-18 season and Anthony is under contract through 2019.

Absolutely, if the Knicks can deal him with the Rockets, Anthony is willing to waive his no-trade clause.
