The LG V30 is expected to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, and will be powered by a 3,300mAh battery, with support for wireless charging.

The news was officially confirmed through the company's website on Thursday.

The design is consistent with LG's strategy of focusing on innovation and quality of smartphone displays, which started with the launch of the LG G6 and continued with the LG Q6. The smartphone will have 18:9 aspect ratio. With the bezel movement, the LG logo is now moved to the back of the device. But it seems like the company has worked to get the maximum display size by reducing the top and bottom bezels by 20 percent and 50 percent respectively.

When the V20 was launched past year, it offered some of the best audio quality in the market to date, and the V30 is expected not only to continue that trend, but provide advancements as well. Early prototype of the device revealed several technical specifications, such as f/1.6 aperture camera lens, P-OLED display screen with QHD display resolution and new ESS quad DAC, according to UnderKG.

The same date is likely to be the launching day of the next flagship smartphone called LG V30.

This also shows how LG is looking forward to future opportunities, as OLED displays not only provide superb visuals, but are also the hardware of choice for advanced virtual reality technology, which is one of the key growth areas of today's smartphones.
