Ronaldo posted a photo Sunday on Twitter of him with the baby's mother, Georgina Rodriguez, and his oldest son in a hospital in Madrid.

Reportedly, Ronaldo rejected contract renewal from the Spanish club.

At the end of October, the Portuguese star had revealed in a video on social media the name of the child as well as the proposed due date of the baby, initially fixed at November 21. He feels undervalued and thinks that the new contract shows how little Madrid value him.

When asked earlier this month he was expecting to sign a new deal with Madrid, Ronaldo told beIN Sports: 'I don't want to renew.

The award, which will be handed to the winner on 7 December, has been shared between the two superstars since 2008, with Messi winning it five times, and Ronaldo claiming it on four occasions. I don't want to renew.

Ronaldo only managed one goal in seven La Liga outings this season, which is enough to suggest he may be past his prime.

Ronaldo's club-mate Luka Modric also claimed a career-best third place, reward for his masterful performances in the Madrid midfield as Zinedine Zidane's men won both the European Cup and La Liga in the same campaign for the first time since 1958.
