Are you having problems with your new iPhone X? Is that normal, too?

Apple is still dealing with the iPhone X responsiveness issues when exposed to cold temperatures, but it may have another problem on its hands. It may take some time though. iOS 11.2 update is now being tested in beta programme and will be the first major update to bring a new feature named Apple "Pay Cash" as well. The line has appeared the left side of the screen for some users and the right side for others.

In the meantime, the large number of apps that aren't yet customized for the iPhone X's screen is the device's biggest shortcoming.

Are you facing some weird issues with your iPhone X?

It is suggested that the iPhone X green line problem emanates from an isolated defect with the new OLED display included in the smartphone.

Some users discovered a software bug causing the iPhone X to freeze up in cold weather. With extended long-term use, OLED displays can also show slight visual changes. The bright green line issue is most likely going to be a hardware problem and units will need replacing.

First, it was iFixit who did a teardown of the iPhone X to better understand its internal structure, now SquareTrade, an insurance company that provides extended warranties for mobile devices and other electronic devices, carried out breakability tests on the iPhone X to check what happens when it slips out of one's hands. There are green line of death reports coming from owners of both 64 GB and 256 GB in either Silver or Space Gray colors. Google's Pixel 2 XL, for instance, has been riddled with display problems since its launch, with several reports of burn-in, color tint, and grain. Just when we were getting over the Pixel 2 XL's display issues among many others, some iPhone X owners have reported a odd green line on their displays.
